Oregon Coast

We drove the Oregon coast from Astoria to Coos Bay, spending 2 nights in Lincoln City.

The first 2 photos are from our room in Lincoln City.
The beach was beautiful and virtually deserted.

In the opposite direction of this photo there was a small rocky area where we found lots of interesting sea life.

Lots of starfish, even more anemones & millions of muscles (which don't photograph well).



We stopped at this beautiful spot, where the Yachats River meets the ocean, to stretch our legs, not realizing that we were just a quarter mile from our next scheduled stop; Sea Lion Caves.

The weather was cloudy that day but the views were amazing.

Oregon Vacation Photos

Mill Ends Park in downtown Portland is the worlds smallest park. The kids in the background were on a field trip & were being allowed just 10 seconds at the park, as it is located in the middle of a busy street.

I was looking at some photos from our day at Bodega Bay in January and decided to post a few. I'm looking forward to being at the beach again soon.

I like this photo of the painting. The reflection of the flash makes it look like I might actually know how to paint.

bedroom update

Here is the new color for the downstairs bedroom.
It is actually a bit greener than the photos shows..not really blue at all.

last week

Finished the downstairs bedroom (except for carpet)
Painted a picture for the bedroom
New Bible Study on Wednesday nights - Mike is leading
Sore throat, cough, achy muscles
Road trip to Reno & Fallon with Mike (work related)
BBQ with Don & Ann to plan v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n !!!

Still coughing, still achy....time to go to bed!
