A good start...

We have been working on our front courtyard patio.  In May we power-washed it and realized how badly it needed to be spruced up.  So, we have swept it; scrubbed it (and then rinsed & rinsed & rinsed it); stained it (two coats) and finally this morning we sealed it.  It looks wonderful....but now we've started something.  The rest of the hard-scape in our yard suffers in comparison.  And we have a LOT of it.  Here is what we have done:

This is for comparison - before (right side) & after

And the finished product.

And now for the daunting task ahead.

We have this (medium sized river rock in cement) in the front plus another 60 feet of walkway not showing.  It all needs to be cleaned & sealed

Side yard, same as
the front patio, size
is about 15' x 20',
plus 90' of sidewalk
going around the
back of the house.

Patio along the back of the house is 10' x 45' and a completely different kind of cement

That patio is bordered by the sidewalk mentioned above and across from it is another patio made of flagstone.

And we have about 75 square feet of that.

Sigh, I don't know how long it will take, but at least we have a start and a little bit of experience.

We have no idea why the former owner used so many different styles of hard-scape, but we do love our yard.

Oh, and in case four kinds of stone/cement weren't enough, along the driveway we have this.

Which reminds me, the driveway could use some attention as well.

What you have done looks great. It's never ending though - there is always another project!
